Course Length: One day

Course Description: This course teaches individuals successful tactics and techniques when confronted with a home invasion. This course is not a “dynamic” tactics course; it is a self defense course. As such, Defense in The Home is focused exclusively on pre-planning and defensive skills for combating unknown and known threats from “known” locations. Instruction in this course includes:

Pre emergency planningHome security options“Duty to Retreat” concerns (if applicable)The OODA loop, Information Theory, Hicks Law and Occam’s RazorPersonal defense weaponsWeapon security and storageShooting from austere positionsLow light tacticsDefense from known locations vs movement to confrontationContact with law enforcement

Course cost: $150.00 ($50.00 for previous students space permitting)

Class size: Minimum of 10, no more than 15

Prerequisites: Previously attended Sage Dynamics Handgun Fundamentals (civ) or attended a comparable course from a recognized school (NRA, Sig Arms Academy, Gunsite, Thunder Ranch, etc.)

Successful completion of Defense In the Home students will receive 50% off Defensive handgun I course.
