Instructor Development

Shotgun I

Course length: 5 Days

Course Description:

The Sage Dynamics Instructor Development course is a five day, immersive program to instruct and guide students in teaching to an adult audience.  With a primary focus on the instruction of firearm fundamentals and associated concepts and principals.

Instructor Development is not a firearms proficiency course, nor is it a course on a specific or dogmatic methodology of teaching; rather, it is a course focused on taking the best and most reliable aspects of short-term interaction teaching and maximizing its value to the student.

Instructor Development drives at the chain of reasoning in instruction creation; encompassing the critical tools necessary to build a course that will best help a wide demographic of students without relying on a specific topic as the foundation to build the course.  The best teaching comes from an understanding of the student’s needs, and those needs are best relayed by the student.

Instructor Development is not a certifying system, it is a framework for an existing or prospective teacher to refine or improve their existing skills so that they can better teach functional and realistic information.

Better students make better teachers.
