Duty Precision Rifle
Precision Rifle I
Course Length: Three days
Course Description: This three day course will provide the student with a solid operational foundation from which to deploy and operate a precision rifle in an urban or rural setting as part of a specialized team or as an extended standoff range option for LE patrol. Students will be instructed on bolt-action and semi-automatic rifle techniques as they apply. Students can expect instruction in all aspects of the precision rifle as it applies to utilization in law enforcement. This course extends into low light hours on day two and day three. Students must be able to shoot consistent 5 shot groups measuring no more than 1 and ½ inches at 100 meter from the prone position and have a basic understanding of their weapon before attending the course.

Course Cost: $400.00 ($175.00 refresher for previous students space permitting)

Bolt action or semi-automatic precision rifle with a minimum four round capacity

Precision optics, target type with micrometer scale and turret type elevation and windage adjustments, adjustment knobs that can be turned by hand and do not require tools (such as internal slot adjustment) are required. Mill dot, TMR or Duplex optics are recommended.

Prerequisites: Credentialed Law enforcement or military. Private security authorized to be armed may request attendance on a case by case basis.
